All that you need to know about Online Dance Competition

Format of the Competition:

We welcome the best dancers nationwide for the "Online Dance Competition",  where the best one wins.

It will definitely prove to be the icing on the cake! We invite vibrant, lively and dynamic youngsters to spread their energy in their dance performance. The dance performances can be in any dance style including folk, traditional and contemporary. So dancers with the significant spirit of dancing competition are welcome to join us.

We are looking for young talent, who is limitless.​

Rules:

  • Represent your own styles

  • No vulgarity in Movements

  • All music without bad or abusive words

  • Judges decision is final

  • Time Duration : (Max)

    • Solo - 2.30 mins​

    • Group - 4 mins

  • Age Catagories:

    • Kids: 5-9 yrs​

    • Jonior: 10-16 yrs

    • Senior: 17 above

  • Special Online Contest:

    • Share 1 min Video​

Judging Criteria

  • Each performance will be adjudicated by a professional panel of three predetermined judges.

  • General Awards placement will be posted on the results page. This will be a new tab added to our website results page. Only High Point Awards, Title, Photogenic and additional scholarships will be presented during the LIVE awards presentation.

  • Award Results can be found at Results Page.

  • All registered performances will receive Judges' commentary and score sheets.

  • Overall High Point awards will be presented in the respective Levels and Age Divisions.

  • New Virtual award buttons will be presented and shipped for General Placement and High Point Awards.

  • Title WINNERS in each Level and Age will be awarded crowns and caps. These awards will be also mailed to the studio.

  • Junior and Senior Photogenic WINNERS will receive a custom plaque. These awards will also be mailed to the studio.

  • The Top 3 SOLO Overall High Point Winners will be presented scholarships to Refresh, LA Dance Magic & 2 Days in the OC.

  • REMEMBER... This is for the FUN of performing and supporting each other during this difficult time. We want to unite, inspire, and encourage our incredible Dance Community to keep dancing. We urge friends and family to watch and support! Use #DanceKARvirtual for a chance to be featured on our page during the competition!

Submission Process

👉 Follow the Dreamyflies Social Accounts

👉 Last date of submission is 08th October'2022, 11:59 PM

👉 All selected submissions will get uploaded on Instagram for Final voting process

Judging Criteria

👉 All the entries will be posted for 4 days on our Instagram handles for fair voting

👉 Maximum liked post on Instagram.

  1. 70% weightage of public voting.

  2. 10% Compliments in the comments section

  3. 20% weightage of the Jury (Event Core Team)

  4. Originality will be appreciated

👉 Public review in the form of comments will also be considered.

​Note: In case of any judgement issue Dreamyflies team's decision is final.

Rewards and Prizes?

The competition will be conducted in two categories:

  • First Prize – Rs. 500/-

  • Second Prize – Rs. 300/-

All participants will get an e-certificate
